My top three goals upon starting the 6-month program were to develop strategies and gather information that would be helpful as I transition to the next stage of my life. As my eating habits evolved, I wanted to have correct information to guide my daily choices. After our 10-day detox I had so much more energy, my brain was more focussed, and even though I didn’t lose pounds, my body shape kind of changed and I stopped feeling so sluggish and fat from the winter. I was wearing baggy clothes and feeling pretty schlumpy, and then after things changed, I went and bought these mustard coloured yoga pants and now I want to wear them every day!

I enjoyed this 10-day detox. This was much more workable with regard to energy, hunger and weakness than other cleanses I have done in the past. It did get a little intense in the middle part but then it opened up. My insides are so much more relaxed now!

I am amazed at how much more energy I have. Normally I would be falling asleep at 9pm, but now I have so much more energy in the evenings.
Once I committed to it I was 100% in. After much hesitation initially, I kept a positive attitude over the 10 days venturing into the land of green vegetables and fish. My biggest side effect was muscle aches, but I also found myself feeling refreshed after much less sleep and much better able to handle my crazy work week in the ER. In the past I would have come home from a stressful day at work and had a drink to relax, only to awake in the morning dragging and not wanting to get out of bed. On the detox diet and without alcohol I was able to get up and feel so much more alert and rested for his day ahead.
